Growing up with a criminal defense attorney for a mother, Jeff Caesar Chukwuma, founder of Chukwuma Law Group, P.A., witnessed the importance of advocacy for those who faced adversity in life and often did not have a voice. Disparities in life make it difficult to overcome the hurdles one may face, and persevering with resilience is admired.

Who Is Eligible For The Chukwuma Law Group Scholarship?

Our $1,000 scholarship is available to students who meet the following criteria:

Students currently enrolled in or formally accepted to an accredited U.S. community college, college or university undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Applicants must currently be in good academic standing and provide transcripts to
support a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above if selected as the winner.

Applicants must have faced adversity and be open to sharing the story.

Application instructions and deadline

The scholarship opens on July 1st, 2022.

The deadline to apply for the Chukwuma Law Group Scholarship is September 30th, 2022.

To apply, fill out the form on this page and upload your essay. Applications submitted through mail or email will not be accepted.

The winner will be contacted by email on November 1 st, 2022. Nonwinners will not be notified. Because we must process a significant number of applications, we are not able to provide status updates or feedback on any application.
